State Financial Literacy Advisory Council
In 2019, Senate Bill 314 created the State Financial Literacy Advisory Council to develop a strategic plan for financial literacy education. This includes identifying learning activities, developing criteria for the State Seal of Financial Literacy, and facilitating various financial literacy events. The Council aims to create a dynamic financial literacy program for all residents of Nevada, including students (3rd grade through college), adults, and senior citizens. The program will be free and available for in-classroom education, partnering with various entities to enable financial education diversity throughout Nevada.
